ELLA WESLY CERAMICS

I have been working with clay for the majority of my life, seriously producing pottery since 2013. I completed my Bachelors in Fine Arts with a concentration in Ceramics while focusing on functional design works in 2016. Afterward, I gained my Masters in Art Business from Manhattan’s Sotheby’s Institute of Art which catapulted me into the Art World and where I worked up to become a Gallery Manager before 25. Through my studies I have explored the International Art Market primarily in North America, Europe, South America, and Asia. I have curated exhibitions about exploring the topic of Functional Ceramics as sculpture in New York City’s Midtown and Chelsea Art District and plan to continue the conversation in clay communities across the globe. I currently live in San Francisco, CA with my partner, my plants, and my ever-growing collection of handmade mugs.
